diem! I Left to Right! Jane Brown, Mary Dargoy, Elsie Jean Ide, Dolores Adamshick, Kenneth Benning, Mildred Culp, Joyce Adams, Joan Coolbaugh, Marilyn Williams. This year's cheerleaders under the able sponsoring of Miss Virginia King did an exceptionally fine job in keeping alive the school spirit. These girls have a lot of zip and pep, and have supported the teams, win or lose. They boosted the student body's enthusiasm, not only at games,but also at pep meetings,held both indoors and out. We hope these girls venture forth on the road of life with the eager spirit that they have shown this year. T The Lehman Scotties .who consist of Ethel Ide, Arlene lentzel, Elizabeth Kramer, Pauline Ehret, Melba Reakes, Ruth Wentzel, and Betty Warner took the championship in the Playground Recreation League for Basketball in 1946-47 and l947'48. It was the high light of the 1946-47 season,that the Lehman Scotties was the first girls' team to play at'the Kingston Armory. This was the play-off game with the Plymouth' Shawneeites,in which our faithful Scotties came out on top with a score of 52-12. The 1947-48 season brought about many changes. Thisyear our team was made up of the following players: Elizabeth Kramer, Arlene lentzel Hospodar, Mildred lentzel, Ethel Ide Peggy Krieger Dungey,, Betty Warner, and Ann Sydlowski. Although they had little practice this season, they were again successful in winning the championship, when they played their '-1 tie-off gamer with the Ashley FIRST ROW: Kleft to Rightl Ethel Ide, Arlene Hospodar, Starlets, This, their final game, Elizabeth Kramer, Pauline Ehret, Mrs. Peter Pence. got off to a good start,however,when Ethel Ide was put out of the game on SECOND ROW: flbft to Right, Melba R6akBS,Ruth Wentzel, personal fouls, thig left only fivi Betty Warner. . . players on the floor. Because there were no subs, these five had to play the remaining 13 minutes, and again came out on top with a winning score taking the 1947-48 championship. 52

Allegar, the tee! still ceme through to tie for second piece with Kingston Twp., thanks to the managers and splendid coaching of Kiss King and lr. Hendricks.
