At the first meeting there was election of officers. They ares President, Kathleen Hunter: Vice President, Robert Iascos Secretary, Edith Sutton: and Treasurer, Gerald Hoover. ' It was decided that we have a naming contest for the club, Each member had to think of a name and put it in a box. The name that was chosen was 'Ink B1ots , the winner, Lorraine Jones, was relieved of paying the dues of five cents a week, for three months. le have four committees in our club, which are as follows: The Publicity Committee has charge of the advertising and the publicity of the organization. lembere are Amos Reakes, Barbara Culp, Edna Johnson. The Program Committee provides an interesting and helpml program for every regular meeting. lembers are Ellen Gibbons, Kenneth Benning, Edward Kasko. The Social Committee has charge of the social activities of the club. lembers are: Lorraine Jones, Rose Anderson, Garner Parks. The Education Committee has charge of all matters pertaining to the educational advantages offered by the club including work on I.eV1sta, designing and making mimeopaphed tickets, programs, F. F.
