NQAINWNWMXNN May We Introduce . We the staff of the 1956 I ehman Polaris take extreme pleasure in introducing to you that great literary expert Byron the irrepressible bookworm. Let us tell you a little bit about him. When he was very young just 1 larva his parents found him eating through one of Lord Byron s classics. Because of this early evidence of good taste they christened him By ron. He seemed very pleased for he felt the name was suitable for his debonair disposition. Our Byron is not only an expert in the literary held but he is also very much interested in athletics. He does not participate in many sports because he has a tendency to trip over his own feet but he cheers for Lehman on the sidelines with the rest of us. So now vsithout further ado we present Byron the bookworm. I remember one time I hadjust started my way through a Latin book when some unfortunate student picked up the book by accident. She took the book to class . . . opened it to where I was . . . screamed, and ofcourse I got out of there pretty fast. I never will forget the look on that teacher's facel Pupils at Lehman recall the way IR. was always kidding Mr. YYatts in the pep assemblies . . . how simple it was to get Mr. Bowling to talk about golf fin its sea- son, of coursej instead of plane geometry . . . Miss Willett and her nerve-racking research themes . . . and Bev Smith demonstrating how one stands on one's head properly. Yes, you'll always remember your faculty at Lehman as a swell group . . . always with your interests at heart.
