Parental involvement is one key to the band's success. Marching 48 musicians, 14 flags, 4 majorettes and a drum major, the Marching Cavaliers performed Rock On with kids at Springfield Central CathoIic's elementary band program. The parents of the Lehman students formed cheering sections at the Marion Local and New Bremen contests waving balloons and signs. They served cookies and punch after the contests.
