Annie, Get Your Gun Lehman High School staged its eighth annual musical in late-April, Annie Get Your Gun. This musical is the story of a sharpshooter Annie Oakley, born in Darke County, Ohio, in 1860. At the age of 14, she won a shooting match against Frank Butler, a performer with Buffalo Bill Wild West Show. Annie, at the request of Buffalo Bill, joins the show and eventually becomes a bigger star than Frank who becomes jealous and joins a rival show run by Pawnee Bill. Finally, the two shows join and Annie and Frank fall in love, marry and, of course, live happily ever after. Katie Dunson played Annie Oakley and Tom Froning played Frank Butler. The play was under the direction of Gail Brandewie and Elaine Schweller. h... if j
