HMS. Pinafore Lehman added a new twist to its musical production this year by its performance of the operetta H.M.S. Pinafore. There were seven prin- ciple roles in this operetta and seven secondary parts as well as the sailor chorus and the sisters, cousins, and aunts chorus. The play concerns a lowly seaman who loves the captain's daughter. There were both humor and suspense involved with a twist in the end. Many hours of practice for the cast and pit band, and many hours of work by the scenery and stage crews were spent before the perfor- mances held the last week-end in April in our gymnasium-stage. A.
