HMS. Pinafore Lehman added a new twist to its musical production this year by its performance of the operetta H.M.S. Pinafore. There were seven prin- ciple roles in this operetta and seven secondary parts as well as the sailor chorus and the sisters, cousins, and aunts chorus. The play concerns a lowly seaman who loves the captain's daughter. There were both humor and suspense involved with a twist in the end. Many hours of practice for the cast and pit band, and many hours of work by the scenery and stage crews were spent before the perfor- mances held the last week-end in April in our gymnasium-stage. A. The boys' tennis team had an outstanding season this year finishing as the SRC champions. Individually in the SRC, Alfonso Mediero and Todd Smith each captured a first in singlesg Eric Sale and Mark Durbin paired up to take first in doubles. Mark Kinsella was runner-up in singles and Coach McBride was honored as the SRC Coach of the Year. This team is one of the best tennis teams Lehman has had. A. Coach McBride wipes his hands. B.
