Floa ts, Music, Royalty A? un ln this year's Homecoming football game, the Lehman Cavaliers faced the Miami Fast Vikings at Julia Lamb Stadium. Before the game, each class had entered a float for the parade and the competi- tion. This year's theme was World of Fantasyn and floats were made along that theme. The junior class was victorious in the float contest. During the pregame ceremonies, the Homecoming Queen was an- nounced. Angie Dankwroth then reigned over all the festivities. A. Senior float. B. The fighting Cavaliers make their appearance. C. Tim, Dan, and Don provide the cadence for the Marching Cavs. ID. un And Games Oktoberfest was held on October 15 at Lehman High School. The day consisted of many games for youngsters as well as adults. Featured to the festival-goers were the IOK run, the craft store, movies. lunch stand, chicken dinners, and games of chance. This annual school func- tion is put together by willing volunteers in order to raise money for school expenses and to keep tuition down. Before the actual event, students sold Oktoberfest raffle tickets. Each student selling S65 worth of tickets received a free day from school and was allowed to wear jeans until the Oktoberfest arrived. There were also prizes for the top five sellers.
