The story of our Class, the Class of 1954, is the story of a group which comes to an institution and grows with it, finding that its growth becomes part of the past of the institution, becomes part of the present, and helps to foretell the future. The dawn of our day here at Lehigh, Freshman Week, has receded quietly into the past. We can recall the fervor and the excitement, the anticipation and the hope with which we entered this week of orien- tation and familiarization.
