Milbur Treasurer of the Board of Trustees from July, eighteen hundred and sixty-five, to October, nineteen hundred and one, and a Trustee of the University from June, eighteen hun- dred and seventy-one, to the time of his death, June four- teenth, nineteen hundred and ten. A constant and steady friend of the student body. Donor in eighteen hundred and eighty-tv o of our Athletic Field, and thereby father of the development of modern athletics in the University, and ever, to the time of his death, a generous, helpful friend, and most valued counselor of the University. To the service of the University he brought the ripe wisdom and good judgment of one who was recognized as a finan- cial leader. Lehigh owes him a great debt of gratitude and love, and the student body pays this tribute to the memory of one who loved and served Lehigh, and cared for the wel- fare of Lehigh ' s sons.
