Dr. H. Lynn Russell: LHS Principal Throughout this school year, the comment most overheard from teachers and parents has been, What an outstanding student body we have this year. ” I agree. In more than nineteen years of working as a teacher and administrator in the public schools, I have never known a better group of students than those who made up the student body of LHS this school year. To a great extent, this must be credited to the seniors of 1977, for the seniors set the tone for the student body. However, a hard-working junior class, an up-and- coming sophomore group, and an excited group of freshmen all cooperated to make this a great year for all of us at LHS. Leadership 19
