Homecoming — Mixed Emotions Homecoming means many things to many people. This year’s Homecoming (like all Homecomings) was met with mixed emotions: sadness, reminiscence, unity, excitement and joy. The class of 1950 was the especially honored class, and all students at LHS tried to make them feel welcome. Shelley Barney, daughter of Lt. Col. (Ret.) and Mrs. Alfred E. Barney, reigned as our lovely queen over the festivities. Even though our Cats were defeated by Rayne (24- 6), the occasion still remained glorious.
