The Yellow Jacket Staff and Sponsor is to be congratulated for an excellent job completed. It is a joy and a pleasure to delegate re- sponsibility to faculty members and students and then observe the job finished in an ex- cellent manner. This is one of the functions of education - experiences that will help develop good citizens. Today, as never be- fore, our nation needs citizens who can think for themselves and who will not be led off to false goals. This development is our aim, inside and out of formal class- rooms. Our policy of democratic participa- tion in student body elections, on athletic teams, chorus, and band, student council, field trips and publications staffs are all evidences of good learning experiences. Citizenship is being developed all day, every day. You, the Yellow Jacket Staff, are our good school citizens. Ray M.
