LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT VVe, the Senior Class of l946, being of unsound mincl, unforgettable experience, and undying grati- tude, do hereby venture forth into the unsuspecting world, with this, our last will and testament. To the faculty we bequeath the satisfaction of knowing that they, after long and trying years, have passed onto us a small bit of knowledge. We bequeath to the Juniors along with their position of dignified Seniors and the Senior room, the heavy responsibility of running the school. Betty Pringle wills her know-it-all intelligence to any ignoramus wanting it. Olive Merritt leaves -in a rush iYou know that guy is waitingl. John Atz leaves his intelligent mind in the books of L. H. S. Marguerite Allred wills her curly locks to Nancy Monroe, who lost her bobby pins in the rush of the Jr Play. Sonny Herndon leaves his friendly Hello to lon Knight, his faithful admirer. Doris Luster be- ciueaths not only DeVaney but her wit and quiet Ways to Frankie Lynch. Eurshel Spires leaves Short- hand still asking - WHY!!! Freda Chain wills her love of robbing the cradle to Ann Marie Oetien, who wishes some Jr. boy would take the hint. Tim Hall leaves her athletic ability to Jackie Butler. iCan't' you picture that!?!i Doris Harnage wills her bubble gum to Janie Hooks. Dot Gerakios wills her knowledge of Chemistry to anyone stupid enough to think he can pass. Edward Taylor leaves his love of hunting to Shark Eye Hardaway. Burdine leaves, heartbrokenly, her place in the band to Joyce Keeler. Bob Kirkland leaves his frogs to some ambitious underclassman. Pat Buckles wills her lady-like dignity to Ann Valentine. Paul Norman wills his ability to sneak out of the Glee Club room on hands and knees to Jack Battle who, we are certain, will make good use of it. Lillian Hall leaves her saucer of milk to Betty Butler. Ernest Brown leaves the younger girls to the younger boys, who up until now, didn't stand a fighting chance. Priss Newell leaves Snooky-regretfully! Anita Woodson leave her -super friendliness to Jo Ferguson. Eutha Albertson wills her supposed ability to get by with anything short of murder to Jill Battle. Jack Wink wills his bashful smile to his brother, Herman. Bill Kilgore leaves his speaking ability to anyone desiring to run everyone else completely mad. Cary Magruder and Robert Millikan will their height to a couple of up and coming Sophs. Eugene Farmer leaves, still eyeing Pauline. Lillian Boyd wills her clothes-no, on second thought she had better keep them, cause they might come back in style in another ten years. Cliff Trumn wills his handsome looks to Tom Win- dram. Betty Rountree leaves her willingness to co-operate to Peggy Irwin. Frank Littleton wills his quiet manner to Bobby Merrell. Norma Conant wills her knack for always saying the wrong thing at just the right time to Jackie Tate. Vernon Harden wills his timid ways to Harry Hequenbourg. Squeaky Fletcher wills her peroxide bottle to Bobs Jones, who already stands a good chance of being bald at the age of twenty. Jeanne Geiger and Freddy Stivender leave, hand in hand. Pauline Sulen, Clara Wintersdorf, and Mary Alice Pantley leave their inseparable friendship to any three Junior girls with sense enough to use it. Judy James leaves-for Daytona! Clyde Gentry wills his ever-so-gallant way with the ladies to H. T. Chesser. John Hart wills his position as football captain to the next guy Bruner beats to death. Calvin Miller leaves-reioicing! J. D. Dean wills his good looks to Fred Ross. Jim DeVaney wills his faces, all six of them, to Curt Howard. Margaret Alice Haines leaves her Student Dir- ector's headache to anyone who'll take it. Joe Lee wills his conceit to Charles Moore, who hasn't got the least bit of his own. Martha Reeves wills her fickle mind to anyone who thinks they can get by with ir. David Toothacker leaves the Visual Ed. Club. C. D. Drawdy bequeathes his job at the Crescent to some dependable individual. Maxwell leaves her afternoons off to anyone in D. C. T. Wynell Collins leaves her ignorance, only too glad to be rid of it. Martha Lou Bennett leaves her jolly personality to Joyce Keeler. Barbara Shore wills her love of Geometry-period! Mamie Joyce Green and Margaret Mathews, last but not least, leave in a mad dashfor the nearest door. We, the learned students ot L. H.
