Harter ,ia Here, English class taught by Mrs. Robison is enjoying some - thing apparently on the humerous side, but they become serious when they delv into the subject son at hand. f With instruction from Mrsr Hoffer, these girls are learning how to bake biscuits, besides all the other things they learn about cooking and sewing in Home Economics 7. .J These students are solving the mysteries of science as they quench their thirst for knowledge, Their instructor, Mr. James ls here performing an experiment matter of the les The artists of Leesburgh are shown here working on some ofthe master- pieces which they . have accomplished I under the super- vision of Mrs. Fisher. fi A 3, 21 t Here are the future private secretaries and executives now receiving instruction under the tutoring of Mr. Thrailkill. Among some of the things they learn in this class are typing, let- ter writing, and correct business procedures. he ju X 'SJ Did you ever see a more perfect specimen of health: But this class learns more than what a healthy person should look likeg they learn how to put and keep their bodies in a healthy condition, .2 Fractions, decimals, rounding numbers, addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication, all may be thrown at these seventh graders by Mr. Hudson in Arithmetic Class. These seniors, under Mr, Glass, are taking their last crack at the processes of multiplication, dit ision, addi- tion, subtraction, interest rates, and grocery store bills before they go out in the world to apply the principals of what they hate learned to live their own lives. Mark these cadet teachers well, for they may be the future teachers of Lees- burg High School, even as they are now serving as grade school teachers on an apprenticeship basis. llere they are shown re- ceix ing some instructions from Mr Trexler. Here Mrs. Noel. Mrs. Metge, and Mrs, Heaton are shown preparing one of our fine daily meals which give the pupils and teachers of Leesburg energy to complete their day at school. .aff Mr. Metge, our janitor who keeps our school so spotlessly clean and immaculate is at school when the students arrive and he is there after we leave to go home. During the day he is always on hand to clean up some mess that is made by the students. After ball games and other activities he is always around to help clean up. ff ln this pleasant room the pupils and teachers of Leesburg eat their meals and discuss different sub- jects of interest. 1 S4 1-iff ,.. x 'K , L '?N qqgziv' Va- ' eficd N Eff Varsity efet Ce X69 Wav?
