Going places and doing things From the time the bell rang at 2:30 everyday up to and in- cluding Friday, Saturday and Sunday LSHS students could be seen anywhere from cruising up and down Third Street to down at Westport at the Bijou Theatre watching the Rocky Horror Picture Show. There were the industrious students who were involved in after school activities and many who had part-time jobs at places such as Wendy's, McDonald's, Shoney's and other Lee's Summit businesses. Then there were those who couldn't wait to cruise Third Street to see who was in town or go to Harris Park and play frisbee, swing, or just talk with friends. And when the weekend finally came some of the popular places were Strike Market, the Summit IV Theatre, Prairie Lee Lake, Lake Jacomo, and going to parties at C.W.A. Union Hall, the Community Building, or in private homes. Then there were those who left Lee's Summit for entertain- ment and spent time at places such as the Plaza, Westport, concerts, Chiefs' games, Royals' games and eighteen bars in Kansas. Browsing through magazines at Safeway are Lisa Ward and Lisa Cussimanio. C.W.A.
