'77 Pram- ' Chi One' far V011 ' A purely enjoyable evening was what many couples experienced at the junior-senior prom. The Gold Buffet was the setting for over two hundred couples who attended a sumptuous buffet dinner and the prom afterwards. l'Dirt Road was the featured band that played a va- riety of tunes. The junior class executive committee chose '4This One's For You as the '77 prom theme and made all the necessary arrangements for a successful prom. Countless hours were spent finding a good location and a band, not to men- tion ordering dozens of cookies and souvenir booklets. All in all it was a great time on the evening of May the seventh for LSHS Prom 1977. 1 7 x li 5 A Q .Q iz A X . X N'-TN Tammy Hancock and Judy Smith invited out of school guests for the evening. With so many things to choose from, Ann Knipp and her guest Mike Keating find it difficult to decide. Paula Castro and guest Steve Huitt enjoyed their dinner with friends. Dancing to the sound of 'lDirt Road are Marla Linthicum and '76 grad Larry Mowatt. Seniors Dana Crystal and Dean McQuillan have a good time dancing. Clint Carriker and Sue Gardner lead the seniors in the processional to Pomp and Circumstancef' Valedictorian Cindy Hoover delivers her speech like the debater she is. These are just a few of the 473 seniors, the largest graduating class in LSHS history. Yesterday . . . so far away, today . . . suddenly here, tomorrow . . . a lasting memory.
