Ginger Meyer This year the Junior Play was Come Blow Your Horn . It was a situation comedy written by Neil Simon which provided a contem- porary look at the problems of being a bachelor. Dan Quesenberry and Pam Fischer gave good character portrayals of Mr. and Mrs. Baker. The drama classes worked hard on the set to come up with something that would fit Alan Baker's modern taste. The change from naive son and brother, Buddy Baker, to a man of the world was performed well by John DeSpain. The sound system operated by Ella Slaughter provided for some amus- ing moments during the play. But all was handled well as the play was enjoyed by all who came to see it.

Some of the special ac: tion required some difficult blocking but the ex- perienced cast did a fine job. This was a play that appealed to many members of the audience. There was so much going on at the same time-resemblance of a three ring circus at times. Laughter showed that the audience enjoyed the comedy spoof on the hurried, materialistic existence that the world provides us today. The crazy family of the Sycamores provided interest and entertain- ment as they taught us that we should all sit back and take life 'a little easier-after all, we wouldn't be able to take anything with us when we go, as said by Grandpa, alias David Gardner.
