Homecoming Ro alt Contrary to tradition, five Homecoming Queen candidates were nominated by the football team in place of three. After nominations, Pam Jones was selected, by popular vote of the student body, to reign during the Homecoming festivities. The announcement and crowning of the 1966 Queen, by last yearis queen, Susie Yost, was held during the half-time of the Lee's Summit-Blue Springs game.
