First Row: Jack Winburn, Lee White, Forrest Griffith, Jack Swall, Sidney Kiely, The Tigers of 45-46 was the most outstanding team Lee's Summit has ever had. Besides being the winners of the Ruskin Mid-West Tournament they were the winners of Greenwood, Pleasant Hill, Lee's Summit, Independence, Sub-regional and Warrensburg Regional Tournaments. After Winning the regional the Tigers went to Saint Louis State Tournament, where they Won their first game by defeating Senath 47-29. In the second game they were defeated 41-26 by Saint Louis University High, who became state champions. Forrest Griffith made State Second Team and Lee White and Jim Hook got honorable mention.
