There are 67 members in the F.H.A. this year. We have 2 chapter mothers . They are Mrs . Walter Crane and Mrs . Kirk Cowan. Homecoming The 1958 59 Homecomlng f6Sf1V1tleb was opened Frtday nlght September 26 wlth the class sklts The Semor Class won f1rst pr1ze Wlth thelr sktt whlch was a satlre of a bus load of LHS students golng to a ball game Followlng the sk1ts was the crownlng of the klng 81 queen Here the junlor class trlumped wlth thelr candtdates Larry Nelson and Verms Donovan The prlze from the tlcket drawlng was won by Alvln Trowbrldge jr A bonflre and pep rally ended the Fr1day mght events Saturday mornlng the annual Homecomlng parade was held The parade featured the band and baton tw1rlers K1ng and Queen candldates and class and buslness places floats In the afternoon the football game was copped by the Llons wlth an 18 to 6 w1n over the Esmond Eagles The announcement of the w1nn1ng float was made durlng half t1me The Senlor class float a large black and whlte plpe w1th the motto of Smoke em Out and Real Smoke recelved thls honor It was also dlscovered that the Senlor class won the wlndow dlsplay pr1ze and the pr1ze for the best ballot box The ballot box was a model of a sputnlk The football game was followed by a smorgasbord served 1n the Semor Assembly by the F H A At 9 00 Saturday nlght the Homecomtng Dance got under way to the muslc of the Syncopaters M ,gain I-lrst Place fu-glP1dLL SUUOF Skit qLll1Ol'l loal I .
