Class Prophecy As we look ahead into the future we note many shocking changes among today s seniors We predict that Democrate David Carlson and Republican Jerome Almlie are battling it out for the office of chief in Spector of the Reservoir fThey aren t looking for fish J We see Rodney Strand following in his father s footsteps taking over the Strand Ranchero East of Leeds Lynne Engstrom made a tragic mistake by accidentally Joining the WACS instead of the WAVES which delayed her reunion with George in Greece Arden Loken after being the top professor of Higher Calculus at Oxford for many years finally became President of the College Dorriane Dryden after waitlng patiently many years married a minlster and they are currently doing missionary work among the Mau Maus in Africa Rodney Bennes after being so trying to all the teachers gained their eternal gratitude by building a big apartment house where each teacher may have frec of charge the most adorable apartment you ever saw Roland Mathews entered the army Clarice Irriestad as his wife doesnt outrank him however as we hear that Roland has just been promoted to the rank of General Doris Else and Mike have a thriving business rearing children and raising cattle with a sideline in tilltng the soil Karen Sexhus having graduated from the A C liked the 5 1 ratio so well that she decided to stay there an teach Home EC Harriet Deplazes is the current manager of Yellowstone Park and assistant bear tamer Ruth Sandven is working on her M D degree fAnd we dont mean medical doctor J Lorraine Dryden is now in Hollywood as secretary to C B DeM1lle s M G M film corporation director Harry Darling will be giving hula hoop recitals in Radio City New York with Irene Cowan as his manager baby sitter We always thought that Dennis I arson would be a farmer but an old classmate encountered him tn Spain and found him to be the most famous bullfighter there Allan Straabe has a monopoly tn the vineyard corporation and really throws himself into his business with great enthusiasm Wonders never cease because Dennis Johnson who we always assumed would become a great basketball star now works in Women s lingerie at Macy s Department Store New York City Carolyn Medhus who couldn t make up her mind between Julian and Lee decided upon neither She is now an old maid who raises white mice for laboratory tests Joanne Crane missed her calling in art and is now desigrung Men s httbands in Paris Illinois Ann Petsinger now living in Upper Rangoon has a thriving business knitting booties Bonnie Larson the female Cassanova of LHS suddenly changed her tactics and has become an instructor in glass painting in Miss Higgleby s School for girls We see Kay Nelson as a love and marriage expert with a vast store of knowledge on her subJect Orris Mundahl with his Hot Trombone has become the leader of a famous Jazz combo He and his famous trombone are sought after the world round Gwyen Myers will be chief chef at the White House cooking meals for the first woman President Miss Joyce Johnson Betty Pederson and Jeanette Foss are still together as Red Cross Nurses in Arabia Be careful of those skieks girls Donnie Buchta is the Cl'llCfjLlSI1C6 of the Supreme Court His twin brother Duane still professing to be the stronger of the two is his trusty bodyguard Merle Kennedy using shrewd bus1nessman's tactics has become the chief CXCCIIIIVC of a gas station syndicate Judy Straabe will be the owner of a vast chain of beauty parlors and has controlling interest in Frank's Reducing Plant John Eberle after years of research and study has become the attending physician for all Baker Dances We see Gary Stave as a successful lawyer who passed his BAR exams with flying colors . .
