A basic foundation for higher mathe- matics is laid in seventh and eighth grades by Mrs. Maxine Zargo. In Mrs. Dorothy Harteris plane geometry, Algebra II, trigonometry and solid geometry classes, students reach the pinnacle of mathematical knowledge attainable in our high school. Social tudies Dept. To be able to understand the peoples of the world, one must know the prob- lems and situations with which they are faced. The purpose of teaching social studies is to acquaint the student with the lands, people, and problems of the differ- ent nations.
