School Ufficiala MR. BLAUCH Mr. Blauch is the figurative door through which all school functions and activities must pass in order to come into exist- ence. His overseeing eye directs the program of the entire school and his ability in executing his duties as supervising principal proves its worth through the fine reputation he has won for L. H. S. MISS THOMPSON Miss Thompson, Mr. Baker's efficient secretary, is the newest addition to the staff of L. H. S. Nancy, is always on hand to put notices on the board and keep Mr. Baker's oFFice in trim shape. MISS DICKSON Miss Dickson has become Mr. Blauch's proverbial right hand lady. Her efficiency and capability as secretary to our super- vising principal has made Miss Dickson a necessity, not only to Mr. Blauch, but to the entire school. MR. BAKER Mr. Baker, our high school principal, our ever-present aid, and our understanding friend, is the main factor which keeps L. H. S. running in ship-shape order. His guiding hand carries out his duties as principal with assurance and steadiness. We hope Mr. Baker will long remain the captain at the helm of our ship of education, Leechburg High School.

Kmrd of fducativn left to right-Mrs. Good, Mr. Dom Favero, Dr, Neeley, Mr. Oldfield, Dr. Doyle, Mr. Benford. The governing body of Leechburg High School consists of five citizens of the town who are elected by the townspeople to manage affairs of the school system. The members of the board meet the first Monday of every month to take care of the regular business and to solve any problem that may arise during the month. The head of the Board of Education, Dr. O. C. Neeley, was elected president in December, 1948. Dr. Neeley has served as school director for seventeen years. Mrs. Good is secretary of the board. It is her duty to keep the minutes of the meetings up to date. Elected to the board in November, 1949 was Mr. Dom Favero, a prominent businessman, who graduated from Leechburg High School in 1934. He is very interested in the sports of our school. Other newly elected members of the Board of Education are Mr. Gordon Benford, Dr. James Doyle, and Mr. Sidney W. Oldfield, also a graduate of L. H. S. 9
