Right The Football Team shows respect for Lee 26 Sports The Generals were defeated by the Tuscaloosa Central Falcons at Bryant- Denny Stadium in Tuscaloosa by a score of 41-18. At the end of the first half the Generals were losing 27-0. Finally, in the second half. Lee scored with the passing of Dave Ellison. Then Dave Ellison and Randy Ricketts connected on their second play of the fourth quarter to score again. In the end, Dave Ellison and John Jackson scored again to end the game 41-18.

Lee Shutout by High-Ranked Johnson In this game, Lee suffered a shutout by the third ranked Johnson Jaguars. Lee’s defense held the Jags tight until late in the first quarter when the Generals took a big penalty which gave Johnson the ball at Lee's 45 yardline. This led to a Jag touchdown to give them a 7-0 lead. Lee drove from their 20 to the Johnson 4, but were stopped by a powerful defense in the second quarter. On the Jaguar’s next possession, they increased their lead to 13-0 over Lee. They scored again in the third quarter for a score of 19-0. Johnson ran in another touchdown with 37 seconds left in the game for a final of 26-0. Lett: Johnny Birchfietd and company hold the Jags. Below Left: Everett Crawford carries the ball down the field. Generals Roll Over Huntsville After Huntsville recovered a Lee fumble in the first quarter, they worked their way to a 7-0 lead over the Generals. In the second quarter the tables turned as Lee’s Charles Elliot recovered a Panther fumble which produced a tying score for Lee. On their next possession, the Generals in- creased their points to 14 Later in the second half, another Huntsville fumble led to a touchdown for Lee scored by Harold Dickerson making the score 21-7. In the third quarter, two runs by Everett Crawford and Lawrence Drake gave the Generals a 34-7 edge In their final drive. Bart Bankowski scored a touchdown to give Lee a 40-7 victory.
