THE SENIOR CLASS 1969 The end of our senior year marks the end of an era.The time has come when we must look at ourselves as adults and contribute our talents to the world. We are no longer children to be guided; we are adults who must take it upon ourselves to teach and guide others. Our senior year has been a time in which each individual can “feel” his way into an adult world. He can try on the role of a leader or he can simply follow. He can inspire new ideas or he can take the ideas of others and turn them into reality. Whatever the goal of each individual may be, his senior year can be his test period. But all has not been responsibility. There have been moments of excitement during football games, there has been the fun of dressing for halloween; there have been the feelings of unity working in a class play. And then the supreme moment of happiness of graduation - tears for losing old friends and guarded security, and smiles for gaining a new life and new goals. Yes, we have reached the end of an era, but our faces are lifted toward the future. 10
