Through participation in the bands and choruses of the Music Department, the students at Robert E. Lee have an opportunity to examine all facets of music. In class students not only study theory, but also put what they have learned to good use in actual performances. The success of all concerts and other programs presented this year speaks well of the great effort put forth by both the director and the pupils. Mrs. Francis F. Forrer Bridgewater, Catholic U. B.S. Home Economics The home, as the center of the family unit, is of great importance. The making of a happy and comfortable home requires skill and knowl¬ edge. The Homemaking Department of Lee offers the chance to gain this knowledge and develop this skill. Child care, nutrition and foods, clothing, money management, personal grooming, and home nursing are the major fields of study in the four year course. Girls taking this subject have the opportunity to become better home¬ makers under personal supervision through practical experience. 30
