Library Lee High School has an excellent library which provides the student with the oppor¬ tunity to gain interest and knowledge in a variety of fields. The large reference section makes reference material of all kinds avail¬ able for use by the students. The library has the largest audio-visual department in the area and an excellent periodical section. Books ranging in subject from science and history to mystery and drama can be found on its shelves. The library is a profitable place to visit whether for reference work or reading. Mary D. Agatha Mainwaring School Nurse ' But those big Juniors with their books on their hips always poke me in the eye! Nurse Lee ' s students are deeply grateful to Mrs. Mainwaring for the help she has given many of us in times of illness or injury. The clinic and school nurse are both vital to the smooth operation of the school. Wisdom - seeking students find refuge in the library. 18

Secretaries The secretaries ' duties include the per¬ formance of clerical and financial jobs in the school office, guidance department, and book store. The efficiency with which these three main offices are run is of vital im¬ portance to Lee. Working together leaves more time for play. Our custodians are busy. Starting his rounds after the school day is over. Caught in the act! Cafeteria The students of Lee are indebted to the cafeteria staff for the hot lunches that are served in the cafeteria each school day. The staff works diligently to keep the cafeteria clean and neat and are of vital importance to the efficient management of the school. Janitorial Staff Lee ' s janitors are responsible for the clean appearance of the school each day. Their ' s is a job which is often overlooked but which is, needless to say, indispensable to the good name of Robert E. Lee High School. 19
