Danny Hunter led Lee in scoring with T6 points. Pete Cerruti and Louie Airoldi had 15. This game proved to be the Wildcats' best effort of the season. We then defeated Chester, 86-47, as the first five score in the double figure bracket. Williams rallied to beat us 58-49 in a foul-infested battle. With better luck in our last two games we defeated Lenox and Mt. Everett 69-26 and 6l-47 respectively. Lee High ended in third place in the S.B.L. with a 6 win 4 loss record. Accepting the invitation to be in the Small School Tourney at U. of M., the Wildcats were planning on a championship. These plans went down the drain in our first game against St. Mary's of Westfield. lf Lee High is asked to be in this Tourney next year, better luck, and a better team will add up to victory. Graduation will take four men from the team: namely, Dave Navin, Ronnie Driscoll, Dick Laureyns, and Louie Airoldi, but with the boys that remain Coach Consolati should have a S.B.L. Championship. The Class of' '58 wish the Wildcats all the luck in the world next year and the years to come. 63
