was her turn to predtct the future for the remarmng v1s1tors of the day Barbara Tumer Nly frrst vrsxtor proved to be none other than Dortnda Costello also anxtous to know what the future held for her Agaln my sens1t1ve mrnd went to work As the pre sent faded a v1s1on cam IUIO focus of Dorrnda and 'laryann Fanmng as co owners of the largest prrvate grrls school rn Berkshrre County The school as I saw rt was a beau ttful structure and seated rn IIS ma1n offrce pr1nc1pal Pam Magrll and superlntend ent Mary Jane Prrvrtera were drscussmg the possrbrlrty of an addrtron to the laboratory w1th therr two very eff1c1ent secretarres Rosemary Ranzont and Margaret Major A typrcal classroom showed Mary Margaret Hayes as the teacher who was calltng on her PIIZC puptl the daughter of Marjorxe Gale The school s janltor resembled our former classmate Bernard Burnell who seemed at the txme to be havmg trouble controllrng the mlschrevous daughter of Dot Blanco These trarts undoubtedly were 1nher1ted from her mother As Donnda left she seemed very happy over the thrngs I had revealed to er Of the many people to VISII us none was more anxrous than Itmmy Partmgton to learn the happentngs of the future As I gazed rnto my crystal ball I could plalnly see a church The photographer Robert Bushey was qu1te exerted about the prctures he was takrng of the brtde lvlargte VeCCh13 and her ma1d of honor Drana Mottarella After a second look I was able to tell that the best man Harold 'vlrlls was st1ll rnsrde the church lrstemng to Gordrne Mrlls srngrng Oh Promrse Me I-ler accompanrst on the organ was Eleanor Bartrnr There seemed to be someone rushmg around rn a great hurry It turned out to be Sherry Turner who was coverlng the story for Judy Pellrzzaro s paper The Lee Ttmes Thrs of course was one of the brggest soc1al events of the year Among the celebrrtres attendrng was Ann Consolatr the country s foremost wrtter who had Just completed a brography on the l1fe of Arlene Ingegm famous Broadway actress As the v1s1on slowly faded from v1ew I was compelled to dry my eyes for meetmg wrth my old frrends and classmates had recalled to my mlnd the happy days gone by and had prompted me to do some of my most 1nsp1r1ng work tn relattng future events After I had b1d Jlmmy good bye my partner and I closed shop and retrred to our quarters where we relaxed and drscussed the happentngs of the day We were both de lrghted to be home agarn among our frtends and above all we were thrllled at the way Lee had thrrved durrng our absence As we reflected however we began to real 1ze that the real reason for Lee s well organrzed Growth had come as the result of the efforts of the graduates of Lee Hrgh School among them ofcourse the members of the class of 1956 And so w1th a feelrng of good fSllOWSh1P we retrred for the nlght Irene Mmer 3 I ' O 5 1 ' ' L .
