Among the final duties of the graduates is the transfer of this emblem of the Ivy to next year's Seniors. I, as representative of the Senior Class, present to you, John Cinella, president of the Junior Class this spade which symbolizes all that the Ivy means to us Mary Vecchta Class Prophecy After experimenting with several different occupations Irene and I decided to Join forces and take up the profitable busrness of fortune telling We had established our residence in the western part of the country and were nearly contented with our chosen profession I say nearly as vue were both quite homesick to return to our town of Lee One evenrnv after discussing the probability of returning we not only thought it to be a good idea but sat down immediately and wrote a letter to Moey Briggs the new mayor A few days later we received his reply telling us we would certainly be welcome and that he had even secured for us an apartment in the Main Street Block He added that it had recently been reconstructed by Ronnie Smith and Frank Rowley and was now owned by Bobby Clark That very evening we called to rent a truck from the Bush Trucking Company When it arrived the next day we were much surprised to see George Sampson as the driver He was very helpful in aiding us to get our furniture situated which meant we would be ready for business the following day I awoke early the next morning to be sure there would be enough time to meet all of the customers as my reputation for accuracy in forecasting was universal First to arrive was Gordon Steadman He had not changed much and was very inquisitive as to what his future would be I told him to sit down and be patrent Serious concentration revealed him as the engineer of the Lee Shopping Center Perhaps 1fI really concen trate it will come to me in more detail Itold him Yes' Yes! It is clearer now There is a large department store coming into focus On the side facing the Belanger and Davis Beauty Salon is a sign reading DuPont Enterprises Leaving this building is omrng and Arizona owned by Ellie Cuene and Donnie Mooney respectively Ixext to the Beauty Salon 15 Carmello s Barber Shop and a cigar store ov ned by Marvin Rose Hou is that for a start?
