BUSINESS COURSES DCT Club Leels Mathemat- ics Department, h e a d e d b y M r . Luther Bowman, offers courses in mathematics geared primarily to the col- lege-bound student. Basic mathematics, first and second year algebra, plane geometry, trigo- nometry, solid and analytical g e o m e - try, and advanced senior mathematics give the student a w i d e r a n g e o f choices in the mathematical field. The algebra courses, several of the plane geometry classes, and the senior mathematics course were this year pre- sented as Modern or Contemporary M a t h e m a t i c s courses. The ad- vanced senior mathematics course is the highest-level mathematics course offered at Lee. The Diversified Cooperative Train- ing Program enrolls juniors and seniors of employable age and places them in a variety of occupations. The first peri- od is taken up with generally related material designed for all students. Sec- ond period is specific instruction relat- ing to what the student is doing on the job. This program is designed primarily for students not going to college.
