The purpose of the service is to enrich the lives of others through all media of communication. The library, with its records, filmstrips, and 12,000 books, is open to all from eight in the morning to four in the afternoon every day of the week. Functioning properly, the library should be the i'hub of the school. ll

GUIDANCE COUNSELOR GUIDANCE COUNSELOR GUIDANCE COUNSELOR Hi-Y lee Review The English Program of Lee High School, under the direction of Mrs Kathleen Vinson, enrolls all students in high school and groups them oi the basis of achievement, rather than test scores, Lee incorporates th Four Track Plan, whereby students are assigned to one of four groups 0 classes, called the Basic, Standard, Enriched, and Review groups. In addi tion to literature and functional grammar, the Language Arts Progran includes composition, vocabulary, individual reading, memorization, mas' media, penmanship, school paper and literary magazine and cooperate with the libraly and the Book Nook. Also included in the Department of English are the Speech classes, ant classes of Humanities for superior students.

It offers World History as an elective to tenth and eleventh graders and requires juniors to take American History. A semester of Twentieth Century History is also required for gradua- tion.
