Hers perhaps admired and loved most for his warm ever-ready smile and the friendly air which we have come to associate with him, MARTHA CLARK - Cheerful smiles, sparkling eyes, friendly words-these are the things which remind us of Martha. Never too busy to say hello, Martha has brought a bright ray of sunshine into the halls of Lee Hrqh School. Entering into every activity with bound' less enthusiasm, she has proved to be an inspiration to all who have come in contact with her. Her classmates, calling on her time and again, know she has served them well: Drum Majorette, Thespians, Calendar, Vice-President, J. G, C., Secretary, S. G. C., and Mascot, J, B. C. Among the many honors bestowed upon her, she was named Miss Lee High of 1953. By being her sweet lov- able self, Martha has won a permanent place in all our hearts. TERRY HULICK - Through his three years at Lee High, the name, Terry Hulick, has meant good music. Terry's gift for music and his talent for playing almost every instrument have made him an indispensible member of the band. His loyalty and hard work in the band have gained him the admiration and respect of the entire student body. Terry's easy-going manner and dry sense of humor will always be remembered, but first and foremost in the minds of Lee High students will be Terry's unforgettable talent in the field of music. To all who know him, subtle remarks, good music, and Terry Hulick are synonymous. JUNE KING - Our June, with her bubbling personality, lovable kindness, and unique musical talent, has warmed the hearts of every- one who has come into contact with her. Her mellow voice has enchanted Lee audiences and made her a permanent favorite with both teachers and students. His schedule includes countless extra-curricular activities, which might be the explanation to the fact that he's always on the go. However, he is never too busy to say hello, as he whizzes past you in the halls. Bill is active in NFL, Stage Crew, Stu- dent Council, National Honor Society, and Delta Hi-Y. He has wcn the distinction of best president of the Senate at both the North District and State Student Congresses, and he was recently named the best debater in the North District Debate Tourney at Stetson University. Whatever Bill's chosen profession may be, his successes will follow him and his skill in public speaking will certainly prove to be an asset, RUTH LYONS - Always full of fun and sparkle, Ruthie has won the friendship of many during her years at Lee. Inclined to appear reserved at fiist, her true personality is soon revealed in her bubbling infectious laugh. An outstanding Thespian, Ruthie has proved herself worthy of holding offices in the National Forensic League, Thespian Society, and Debate Club. She has further demonstrated her abilities by directing numerous dramatic productions. Surely Ruthie has earned the title of outstanding graduate and she will not be soon forgotten by her fellow students. DONALD DAVID - Donald is the rare combination of a capable leader and a willing follower. He meets his problems with determi- nation and foresight. Practical and dependable, Donald never shirks a job and through the years has never failed to earn the admira- tion and respect of his fellow workers. MARGARET RAILEY - Our Margaret is a girl glowing with warmth and kindness. She has spent countless hours atter school helping in various activities. As editor of Lee's Traveler, Margaret has steered the way to success for the first school newspaper in ten years. This was achieved only through her strong ambition, self-reliance, and skill. One can truthfully say that anything she does, she does well. Margaret will always be remembered as a good sport ready to take responsibility with a smile. s e .,, 5-,N -- .. 1-.. lm' , sf? 1 P!
