The big gun in the General's attack was Billy Childers who led in the scoring column with three touchdowns. Much to everyone's surprise, two ofthe Gen- eral's touchdowns came on passes. Coach Kirkham's emphasis on blocking and tackling really payed off in this victory. Others scoring touchdowns tor Lee were Max Long, Tommy Jenkins, Jimmy Warren, and Fred Walsingham. Lee eleven received unexpected early resistance from a scrappy Orlando High team, but got rolling in the last half to pound out a decisive victory in the first Big Ten clash of the season for hoth teams. A heavy rain fell during most of the game, making it extremely difficult for either team to play at any thing near full effectiveness. Ralph Tuggle, alert guard, saved a touchdown by recover- ing a fumble in the end zone. Roy Miller and John Griner also scored for the Generals.
