Division of Flrts ond Sciences Largest of the academic divisions at Lee College, the Division of Arts and Sciences encompasses a broad spectrum of disciplines. Within its domain lie such diverse areas as business and music, languages and science. Since its creation in 1969-70 when the College of Liberal Arts and Education merged with the Bible College, this division has grown from ten majors to seventeen, adding degree programs in accounting, psychology, medical technology, mathematics, chemistry, and communications, another degree in nursing will be initiated in 1981-82. The 1979-80 roster of the division boasted 726 students majoring in the twenty-five disciplines included in its five departments. Thirty-eight full time and over twenty part-time faculty members teach the 291 courses under the leadership of Dr. Ollie Lee, Dean of the Division, Above left: The door of opportunity opens upon a broad spectrum of academic interests for students at Lee College.
