DEDICATION Many young people have desired to attend Lee College, and many now are making plans and preparations for enrollment. To those young people of the Church of God who in years to come will enter Lee College and con- tinue their education, study in its classrooms, revere Its standards, and grace its campus, as well as those who have long desired to come, but as yet have not been afforded the opportunity, we, the Senior Class of 1954-55, humbly dedicate this, our 1955 VINDAGUA.

FINISHED MASTERPIECE .,...-• ■•-■• ' .; ' - -i ' «l . • --•■,., ••-■.: a •- - ' tr.. :..-■• -..•V--.t-i ■ K- 1 ' V ' ' J.iil M tAi i«w i44 ' sciii ' «£- ' .« FOREWORD We have compared Lee to a master watch, with its parts working together as a unit to perform its taslc of helping to mold the lives of individuals who must take their place in a modern Christian world. A masterpiece is such because it is so composed that it cannot perform unless each part is working in cooperation with the other parts. The mainspring is of no value without the hands to direct its actions. Likewise, the hands are useless if their inspiration to move does not come from the movement of the mainspring Within. Still the watch is not completed without the smaller parts that spur the mainspring into action. Thus Lee is a masterpiece; the students inspire the faculty in its work of guidance; the faculty offers the guidance necessary for the students to perform successfully their tasks. Then the little things that make up school life add the finishing touch to the masterpiece: elec- tion campaigns, picnics, banquets, parties, Christmas, club meetings, clean-up days, ball games, music practices and performances. Plays, Clarion meetings, Annual staff meetings, and (our favorite class) canteen. Yes, this is life at Lee College, whose fondest memories we hope to help you recall in the years to come as you scan the pages of the 1955 VINDAGUA. MARIE SHARP— Edjfo;-
