The blood drive was a success with 8211 of the students eligible giving. The school collected I 83 pints. The Hunter Safety Team won honors in the state contest for the second year in a row. Below: Ronnie Tolbert and Sam Wheeler dance to the music of Rhapsody. il Sayonara at Top of April lst was a day full of meaning and excitement being April Fool's Day, Good Fri- day, and also Ledford's prom. Most of the students had an extended day to their Easter vacation by staying out on 0 o Frida and re arin for the theme highlights prorrif 'J 'J E After an appetizing meal at the couple's preferred restaurant, they arrived at the Top of the Mark which had been converted to prom night, ril I l Oriental style. They were greeted by the p 9 Sophomore waiters and waitresses dressed in kimonos who gave the females Oriental fans and the boys chopsticks as favors. After having their picture made in front of a lattice and a rickshaw, the couple then en- joyed dancing to the music of Rhapsody, talk- ing with friends, and eating the delicious re- freshments.
