Kaleidoscope Staff This year's Kaleidoscope staff has to have been the best one ever. Everyone involved pitched in their all to make this a great book. To begin with, they all sacrificed their time in the sun this summer to sell ads. Gretchen and I also attended a seminar at the Hyatt House and when we returned, we were ready to start creating. With the beginning of school came the battles of what color the annual should be. Finally, we decided on crimson because it went along with our theme of A'Emotions in Motion. As more and more ideas were developed, we be- gan to realize that our book was a little different from the annuals we have had in the past, but we are all a little different anyway. As we began to get the blue-proofs back of each section and to actually see the results of our work, we decided that we were very proud of it. The 1983 Kaleidoscope staff, with the unequalled help of Mrs. Bell, worked hard to try and produce the best possible annual for you, the Student Body. Ledfordian Staff The ledfordian is an up-to-date newspaper keep- ing the faculty, students and parents informed of the happenings here at Ledford and in the community. This year the Ledfordian had a new sponsor. Mrs. Elizabeth Hayworth until Mrs. l.T. Laumann returned at mid-year. This was the Hrst year that the Ledforclian was printed by The Times in Thomasville. Lori Weir, the editor, worked many long hours with the staff ofThe Times, with the computers, and with the journalism staff laying out the Ledfordian and getting it ready for production.
