Health Careers Club The Health Careers Club began their year with the initiation of new members. They had a covered dish supper and then the new members presented a talent show for the old members. The club deals mainly with those interested in health-related fields. All the members care about other human beings and this is seen in their service proiects which include singing at rest homes and hos- pitals and visiting with the patients, making each one feel special. The club is sponsored by Mrs. lulia Miller, who leads the members in all its projects. Youth for Christ The Youth for Christ Club, under the leadership of Mr. Wade Castevens, is a group of young people spending much of their time helping others. One cold night in December, several members went to Mills Home caroling. ln honor of American Education Week, two books were given to the Ledford lunior High library. During the winter, food, clothing, and fuel were distributed to needy families of the community. The club also donated S I 00.00 to the limmy Edwards family. Throughout the year, the club had several speakers attend meetings to give their testimony. ln May, club members and guests enjoyed a cookout.
