FH FHA is an organization consisting of boys and girls who are now taking or have taken a Home Economics course. This year's club has worked on many old and new projects which are educational, social, and ser- vice oriented. The club's first project was the induction and initia- tion of new members. Then all members worked together on the club's numerous activities. Traditional activities carried out again this year in- cluded the Girl of the Month and Ciirl of the Year awards for service to the club. ln March, the annual Mother-Daughter Banquet was held. The banquet was especially exciting as senior members modelled prom dresses and wedding dresses for their mothers. The traditional fund raiser this year was a big Tupper- ware party in january. FHA members also attended the Southern Living Show in Charlotte. A new community service project was started this year. The club collected clothing throughout the year for the infant of an unwed mother. FHA is under the sponsorship of Mrs. Carter and Mrs. Auman.
