I I2 Varsity Girls' Basketball After getting off to a slow start, the Varsity girls' basketball team got on the right track and had a good season. They ended the regular season in fifth place, but due to complica- tions with Southwest Randolph's team, the girls were moved up to fourth place and advanced to the District play-offs. They Hnished up their season with 7-7 conference record and an l l-I4 over-all record. julie Triplette was chosen for the All-Conference team, and at the Athletic Banquet received the Most Valuable Player award and the Best Defensive Player award. The Most Improved award went to Lisa Wall.

The l.V. girls' basketball team went straight to the top this sea- son. They were named confer- ence champs and ended their year with a perfect conference record 8-0. The girls worked well together and under the leader- ship of Coach Mark Berrier strived hard to make this year the best ever. They finished the season with a 17-5 record overall with Annette Everhart being named Most Improved. l.V.
