Stage Band I 3 BACK ROW: Ann Allegre, Jay George, Sandra Freund, Mr. Edwards, Janet Miller, Robert Kimball. MIDDLE ROW: Phil Williams, Mike Croucher, Kenny Carlton, Evan Ellis. FRONT ROW: Ann Becker, Gayle Linhart, Linda Thorne, J an- et Evans. The Lebo High Music Department, under the direction of Mrs. Faye Miller and Mr. Bill Edwards, had a successful year. The marching band attended the Hutchinson Fair and Emporia State Band Day. A concert was given in March by the concert band. The Mixed Chorus presented Handel's '4Messiah in a Christmas vespers concert. The groups were successful at the state music contest. Ratings received were: Band, I: Clarinet Quartet, II, Trumpet Trio, II, Saxophone quartet, III, Mixed Chorus, II: Girls Trio, Ig Girls Triple Trio, Ig Boys Octet, I. Individual ratings were: Jim Hun- ter, lg Phil Williams, II, Ann Becker, II, Darla Benton, II: and Mary Allegre, II for instrumental solos, and Janet Miller, II: Dar- la Benton, II: Marilyn Kimball, II, Mike Croucher, Ilg Corwin Miller, II, Carolyn Barnett, III, Ric Morgan, IIIQ and Kenny Carl- ton, III for vocal solos.
