The Christmas Assembl N S553 sf The Spanish classes, under the direction of Mr. Peavler, entertained the student body by singing Christmas hymns and carols in Spanish. Some of the selections were Silent Night, lt Came Upon a Midnight Clear, 'VH ' u vu ' n ark, the Herald Angels Sing, and Jingle Bells. T i w i The Junior Class was host for the Christmas party. The evening was spent dancing until the arrival of Santa, who gave out presents. Instead of buying gifts for fellow students, e a c h brought and exchanged children's toys. Following the party the toys were given to the Salvation Army for underprivileged children in the Emporia area.
