C Cemetery, Coffee Hour, Cars The cemetery does not have to be a depressing place. Pledges have fun roll- ing kegs up the hill, while other students enjoy traying down. Coffee hour is the place to see who has pulled an all-nighter as they down five cups of valley coffee. In addition, it ' s a great place to mingle with faculty and fel- low students. You can not survive on this campus without a car! If the pressure doesn ' t kill you, the food will. You just have to escape sometimes. D Distributor, Drama (Dining see Eating) Anyone want to put in a buck, I ' nr going to Palmyra for a keg? The Valle student keeps the local distributors in business! From musicals to morality plays, the Valley has done them all. It ' s Central PA ' s own little Broadway.

A Student Guide to the Valley A Athletes, Art, ABC Is that thing really supposed to be art? Beats me! The only picture I know is Whistler ' s Mother. Athletes really do enroll at the Valley and yes LVC does have winning teams. In fact, the school even got a plug by How- ard Cosellon ABC. Can you believe it, ABC sports is coming here I ' ve got to call my mom. Let ' s have a tailgating party. B Bars, Benches, Book- Store (Beer see Illegal) It ' s Thursday, are you going to the bar? God yes, I deserve it making it through this week!! Rich ' s or John- son ' s? Why not check out both? We ' re there! Let ' s sit in the Quad and wait for the football team to come through. E Eating, Exams If you can handle the dining hall day in and day out, you ' ve got a cast iron stom- ach! Such appetizing dishes like chuck wagon and Salisbury steak (better known as mystery meats) make you want to flee to Wendy ' s or McDonalds. For those who like a late night snack to break up the all-nighter. Sambo ' s and the Wedgewood aren ' t bad. Dunkin Donuts is also available if you can stand the com- pany. Never in all the years of higher educa- tion has one school had such an incredi- ble mass of back tests. Thank you Lord! F Arts Festival, Frosh, Frats The Arts Festival better known as Spring Drugs Weekend, is a great excuse to put away the books and screw off. Freshmen just seem to stand out in the crowd. (See large vertical photo on this page.) Either they look lost, scared, or they ' re the girls who constantly carry a pocketbook. Valley Frats Want You! A fraternity will teach you humility, pride, patience, and how to determine which one of 25 guys borrowed your new Playboy. Brother- hood is very big in fraternities, and why not? When you live with 25 guys all of whom have seen you go to the bathroom, shave, get very drunk or very stoned, and ' tDtherwise have seen you as the ass you sometimes are, you either love ' em or hate ' em or a little of both.
