The memhership of the clulw includes those in high school who are taking a junior or Senior commercial suhject. The olwjeets of this cluh are UD to elevate the status of its memhers and to advance their interests, Q21 to provide social gatherings for the promotion of fellowship and goodfwill among memhers. At all times the memhers have worked to make the Commercial department of the school the very hest that can he found. One of our memhers was one of twelve typists throughout the United States who won Corona Portahle typewriters for writing at the rate of sixty words a minute perfectly for a period of fifteen minutes. During the school year we have sold jello and have successfully given a henetit show Witli the money made from these two enterprises we have purchased an adding machine to he given to the commercial department of our school and therehy increase the etfif cieney of our department. We have had regular monthy meetings throughout the year and also several special meetings in the evening to promote the spirit of fellowship. Those who are leaving L. H. S. this year hope to he ahle to look liack in the years to come and see Los Alumnos de Commerciou doing as much as it has done in the last two years.

E lizabeth Stibbs Treasurer ....... ,.... , Willzl Beedle Supervisor.. ...,,. - Mrs. Callon This is one of the clubs in L. H, S. that is still in its infancy. However, it is rapidly growing to be a club of great importance. Much of thc credit for the success of the club is due to Mrs. Callon, our Home Economics teacher. The Home Economics course was revised this year. The first year includes cooking for the first semester and sewing for the second. The girls prepare daily lunches this year which sell at minimum prices. The second year of Home Economics includes the study of sanitation and Hygiene, Home Nursing, House Planning, and Dietitics. The girls in this class have greatly en' joyed the work and believe that it has been beneficial. The Club held an Easter Sale of eggs and baskets. Un May the Twelfth, in the High School Auditorium, a display of the year's work will be held. This display will consist of sewing, Ideal Home Booklet, and canned fruits and jellies.

The Operetta The musical comedy Miss Cherry Blossom was presented hy Lebanon High School March 16. It was conceded hy all to he the hest operetta ever produced hy the High School. A great deal of its success is due to the ahle directorship of Mrs. Berry who worked untiringly to make it a success. The music was directed hy Prof. Alfred Wzltkiins, and was accompanied hy Helen Hartshorn. The parts were well selected. Dora Hall in the part of Cherry Blossom showed a great conception of the role and interpreted the music heautifully. Nathan Fred in the part of the young American in love with Cherry was a fortunate choice for the part. His stage presence was exceptional and he carried the music well. Paul Dakin, his friend, carried his part with credit and his ever pleasing voice was at its hest. The part of Kokemo, the japanese Innkeeper was extremely well played hy Francis Drake It was a heavy part, carrying all the comedy work, but he carried it with a spontaneity and naturalness that could not have been equaled. Paul Harrold played well the part of Togo the politician. The part of Jessica, an American girl was creditahly portrayed hy Marjorie Bangham. The Geisha girls' chorus was one of the most striking in the play. All in the cast included 5 4 players.
