A The History of the Senior Class of '27 5 :T Like bold buccaneers of old the class of '27 broke into High School in '23 with a crew of seventyfnine very modern and intellectual pirates. As pirates must have leaders, like everyone else, we chose for our Captain, Mylin Ross, alias Pink , for first mate, Marjorie Bangham, otherwise known as Marg , secretary, Warren Young, and guard of the Treasure, Ike Dakin. Of course, being green, we were treated unmercifully by the veterans, but we showed ourselves worthy of honor, by good sportmanship and school spirit, not to mention our contributions to athletics and the Honor Roll. At the end of the year there was considerable storm on the high seas, which swept over our ship, washing a few over board. On top of all these activities we held various money making functions all through the year. With the money we had earned by the sweat of our brow we had the customary Junior' Senior banquet and along with some very hard work we had a corking good time. And now we are Seniors. What terror yet what pride we have in accomplishing our last achievements for the sake of our dear Old Lebanon Hi! Among these achieve' ments we may mention a few of which we are justly proud. For instance, we have seven football men, four notorious basketball men, one basketball girl, six Honor pupils, fourteen in Los Alumnos de Comercio, and twelve in the operetta. We are going out soon, leaving our burden to be taken up by the next class and we take great pleasure in the thought that we have straightened out a great many problems which have been cast off with the rest of our burden. We have produced, without doubt, under the man'
