They made a comeback at a match with Oakland High and won the next two matches, giving them a 3 and 4 record. The Devils alternated wins and losses with other teams during the rest of the season. They finished with a record of eight wins and seven losses. The grapplers placed fourth in the Shelbyville Invitational, and second place in the District Tournament. Terrance Collins placed first in both the Shelbyville Invitational and the District Tournament. Collins placed fourth in Region competition, which qualified him for the State Tournament in the 98 pound division. John Sloan placed first at the Shelbyville Invitational in the 132 pound division, while Jon Carlton took first at the District Tournament in the 126 pound division.
