rr :J The L Club is an organization honoring those students who have earned letters during the year. The L Club of '58 was led by left to right: Gayle Freeman, Treasurer, Bobby Gann, Vice President, Prentice Sisco, President, Richard Stone, Sergeant-at-Arms, and Beth Donnell, Sec- retary. Before a letter is awarded to a football or basketball player, the coaches take into con- sideration the effort a player has put forth, the numbers of quarters he has played, and what he has contributed to the team. Cheerleaders and team managers are automatically eligible for letters. The L Club sponsored a sale of student movie privilege cards, the alumni games, and also bake sales. Banquets are given each year for the teams, and this year for the first time, an All-Sports banquet is to be held.
