PIONEER BAND After attending band camp from August 5-11 at Hemlock Haven, the band went all out to show the school that they were “Number 1”. Hard prac- tice went into each band session. Great enthusiasm was a part of the LHS band, and they were behind the football team 100 %. The Lebanon Pioneer Marching Band received top awards in several area com- petitions at Chilhowie, Bristol, and Abingdon, each time being placed in Division I. The band’s hard work and practice paid off. This page is a tribute to all those who worked to bring the “I’s” home. 17
